The Mantorville Theatre Company has been producing plays at the Opera House in Mantorville, Minnesota since 1973. In the early decades, our genre was exclusively one-act melodramas, in keeping with the historic nature of the town that hosts Minnesota's oldest working courthouse and a broad smattering of other intriguing history. Since the millennium, we have expanded to many other genres in the rest of the year, while presenting mostly melodramas for our summer fare. Over the course of time, we have had many local artists share their passion by authoring scripts to be presented on our stage, to the absolute delight of our audiences. Believing that art is best when shared with others, this catalog makes these excellent works available to others.
